Nas Colossal Aviation Services (NCAS) offer passenger handling solutions to match airline requirements and have pioneered the provision of excess baggage services in South Africa, which has attracted international interest. Currently in excess of 250 staff are employed providing various aspects of passenger handling at O R Tambo, Cape Town and Durban International Airports and currently doing so for more than 2000 flights per month. Services are provided to domestic carriers as well as a number of international airlines. Previously operating under an ACSA issued Self Handling Ramp License, employing less than 400 staff around South Africa, providing quality ramp handling to Comair and Kulula.com only, a complete spectrum of ramp handling services is now provided by Nas Colossal Aviation Services (NCAS) in terms of the ACSA General Handling License that became effective on 01 March 2008. The unit currently deploys more than 900 staff in this role, handling over 2000 flights per month for in excess of 20 airlines whilst utilising more than 750 pieces of state-of-the-art GSE. Handling is provided for a wide range of aircraft types from the A380 to ATR’s and the company is well versed in large volume aircraft handling. We are acknowledged market leaders in the delivery of cabin cleaning, toilet and water, aircraft laundry and ancillary services to the industry, with more than 150 staff providing services to in excess of 2000 flights per month countrywide.
