SOGEAC is a Mixed Economy Company, created by ordinance No. 064-PRG / 87 of 17 August 1987. It has management, operational and development responsibilities of Conakry Airport. Its activities started on November 2, 1987.

SOGEAC develops and operates the services necessary to ensure the smooth runing of the airport; (Airlines, freight forwarders, travel agencies, passengers and airport employees, airport services, business, car parking, Catering, etc …). It  also provides management, maintenance, renewal and development of structures, ground, buildings, facilities, equipment and services necessary to ensure the full functioning of the airport.
